Driving
The Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center is located at 326 Galvez Street, at the intersection of Campus Drive and Galvez Street on the Stanford University campus. Free parking is reserved for conference attendees at Galvez Field. The entrance to Galvez Field parking is on Campus Drive East between Galvez Street and Palm Drive. Please note that Galvez Field is strictly event parking and it is an unpaved lot.
From Highway 101 North & South:
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the Stanford campus. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. When you reach Campus Drive, make a right. The entrance into Galvez Field event parking will be on your right. After you park, head back toward Galvez Street. The Arrillaga Alumni Center is on the right side of Galvez Street, just after you cross over Campus Drive.
From Highway 280 North & South:
Exit 280 at Sand Hill Road, heading east. Make a right turn onto Santa Cruz Avenue, then turn left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second stoplight, Campus Drive East. Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station. Follow Serra Street until it ends at Galvez Street. Turn right onto Galvez. The Arrillaga Alumni Center will be on your left. To park, make a left onto Campus Drive. The entrance to Galvez Field parking will be on your right. Please note that Galvez Field is free event parking and it is an unpaved lot.
From El Camino Real:
Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto). As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. Stay in the left lane as you drive down Palm Drive. Go through one traffic light, and turn left onto Campus Drive at the first stop sign. Continue on Campus Drive until you reach Galvez Street. Make a U-Turn at Galvez Street. Free event parking is located on an unpaved field. Signs will indicate the entrance on your right. After you park, head back to Galvez Street and cross Campus Drive. The entrance to the Arrillaga Alumni Center is on Galvez Street.
Public Transportation
Caltrain is a commuter rail service that runs between Gilroy and San Francisco. The stop closest to Stanford Campus is the Palo Alto station. It is a 50 minute ride to San Francisco from Palo Alto. Phone: 1.800.660.4287.
The Stanford Shuttle, called the Marguerite, meets most trains at the Palo Alto Transit Center from 6 a.m. - 7: 45 p.m. Monday through Friday. Take Line B (clockwise) which is available from 6:10 a.m. – 8 p.m., every 15 minutes. Exit the Marguerite at the stop located directly in front of the Arrillaga Alumni Center. Phone: 650.723.9362.
